Ginny Spingarn
About Me
Gyneth (Ginny) Spingarn moved to the Chateaugay area five years ago after completing a new 8000SF design/build project in Plattsburgh and fell in love with the area. A native of New England, Ginny holds a BA in Interior Design. She has worked in both residential and commercial design starting at 16 years old, converting antique barns into stunning homes with her mother. Ginny has worked in all areas of the design industry giving her a unique perspective in helping clients find the perfect home.
Ginny began rowing crew in high school and then went on to compete at the colligate level on a full scholarship for four years. She continues to pursue her passion for rowing to this day. Ginny holds a level 2 coaching certification from the United States Rowing Association (USRA) and has been a volunteer coach for many years, including at Northwood School. Ginny has served on the boards of three rowing clubs in various capacities over the years, but her passion lies in introducing kids to the sport. She continues to row on Chateauguay Lake in the Northern Adirondacks.
As a child, her parents would bring Ginny and her siblings to ski Whiteface Mountain. She has kept up the tradition with her own three children.
